What is the StaffTraveler eSIM?

The StaffTraveler eSIM is a virtual SIM card that enables you to connect to the internet in over 160 countries around the world. The eSIM is provided by Voye, a market leader in global connectivity, and our plans are tailor-made to meet the needs of non-rev travelers. All our plans are valid for 365 days, giving you the freedom to use your data when and where you wish.

Can I use the StaffTraveler eSIM on my phone?

You can check if your device is eSIM compatible in your phone's settings. For Android devices: Click “Settings” > “Connections” > “SIM Manager”. For iOS devices: Click “Settings” > Mobile Service. If you see an option to add an eSIM, your device is eSIM compatible.

In which countries can I use StaffTraveler eSIM?

The StaffTraveler eSIM is supported in over 160 countries. You can find the full list of supported countries here. You can travel within all these countries without a need to purchase a new plan. Before purchase, we recommend checking that the countries you visit are supported.

Tip:eSIMs usually don't work on cruises as they are supported by networks within specific countries.

Tip:Reception in Sinai (Egypt) isn't always the best (due to unstable networks). We cannot guarantee the best reception in this area.

How can I verify that my eSIM is installed correctly before leaving my country?

You should be ready to go once you have purchased your first plan and installed your eSim. Just switch your data to the eSIM when you arrive at your destination. Don't forget to switch on roaming on your eSIM; without roaming enabled, the data connection will not work. If you have issues connecting, don't hesitate to contact our support staff at [email protected].

When will my plan be activated?

When your eSIM first connects to a network, your plan starts. As all our plans are valid for 365 days.

How do I know how much data I have left in my plan?

When you open the app, you will see a counter which tells you how much data you have left on your plan. We also send an email once you reach 80% of your plan.

How do I top up my data plan?

To top up your plan, simply purchase a new plan. Your new plan will automatically be activated when your current plan is depleted. Your new plan will be valid for 365 days from the date of activation.

Is it possible to make phone calls or send SMS messages with the StaffTraveler eSIM?

No. You can use various apps such as WhatsApp or Telegram, but the StaffTraveler eSIM doesn't allow sending SMS messages or receiving calls based on cellular networks.

How can I get support for the StaffTraveler eSIM?

I didn't get 10 StaffTraveler credits when I purchased a StaffTraveler eSIM plan.

Did you use the same email address in the StaffTraveler eSIM app as in the StaffTraveler app? We can only automatically reward your StaffTraveler credits if the email addresses match exactly. Please note that if you signed up using Log In with Apple, Apple might anonymize your email address so we can't match your eSIM account to your StaffTraveler account. Contact us at [email protected], and we'll add the credits to your account.

Does the StaffTraveler eSIM support 4G or 5G networks?

It depends on where you are. If local providers have 4G or 5G networks, the StaffTraveler eSIM supports them. If no 4G or 5G network is available, you will connect to an available LTE or 3G network.

My eSIM doesn't work.

Did you enable data roaming on your StaffTraveler eSIM? If you have enabled data roaming and you're still not getting a proper internet connection, please contact us at [email protected]. Our support staff is available every day and will help you getting connected as quickly as possible!

My destination is not on the list of supported countries of the StaffTraveler eSIM.

My phone does not have eSIM capability. Do you offer physical SIMs as well?

At the moment, we do not offer physical SIM cards.

Does my phone support the StaffTraveler eSIM?
